You've probably seen the commercials for "Your Baby Can Read," a video based sight reading program for ages 3 months to 5 years. Since many Special Needs children learn better if they are taught sight reading first then traditional phonics are added later, I thought able2able families might be interested in this opportunity. One of my cyber-friends from DownSyn is the Special Needs contributor to a review and giveaway blog called Pink Nothings. Pink Nothings is holding a giveaway for a "Your Baby Can Read" Starter Kit! Visit Pink Nothings for a review of the Starter Kit and directions on how to enter. While you are there, make sure you watch the inspirational video clip of a 4 year old with Down Syndrome reading! If you win, come back and post a comment here so we can all cheer for you! Giveaway deadline is December 16th, 2009.
